Grand Circuit stakes elims to take place at Yonkers next Friday

Yonkers, NY — Next Friday night (June 23), MGM Yonkers Raceway will host eliminations (if necessary) for the MGM Yonkers Trot and MGM Grand Messenger — the first legs of the Trotting and Pacing Triple Crowns — and their companion filly events, the New York New York Mile for trotters and Park MGM for pacers.

As a reminder to those with eligible horses, you must enter the eliminations on Monday (June 19) by 3 p.m. to be eligible for the finals of those four races on Friday (June 30).

The declaration fees are as follows:

MGM Grand Messenger – $3,030.78
MGM Yonkers Trot – $3,030.78
Park MGM Pace – $1,530.78
New York New York Mile – $1,530.78

Purses for the finals are:

$300,000 (GTD) for the MGM Yonkers Trot
$250,000 (EST) for the MGM Grand Messenger (actual purse was $341,730 in 2022)
$115,000 (EST) for the New York New York Mile (actual purse was $126,165 in 2022)
$100,000 (EST) for the Park MGM Pace (actual purse was $104,790 in 2022)
