Hightstown, NJ — Breeders Crown elimination winners Tall Dark Stranger and Party Girl Hill remained 1-2 in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, but Party Girl Hill took two first-place votes from Tall Dark Stranger and narrowed their gap from nine points to four.
There were no new horses in the top 10. Atlanta and Ramona Hill, both idle, swapped places three and four while Gimpanzee, who won an invitational trot, remained fifth.
Breeders Crown elimination winners Perfect Sting and Kissin In The Sand, and invitational pace winner Bettor’s Wish, owned spots six through eight. Shartin N, who finished second to Kissin In The Sand, was ninth and idle Test Of Faith was 10th.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
