With all 12 of the 2019 Breeders Crown Championship finals taking place on October 25 & 26 at Woodbine Mohawk Park, the Hambletonian Society and TROT Magazine have teamed up this year to present the sixth annual edition of the TROT Magazine Fantasy Stable contest.

The popular TROT Fantasy Stable contest, which attracted more than 1,100 contestants in 2018, already had a tie-in to the Breeders Crown with all 12 Crown winners gaining a bonus $200,000 toward their fantasy stable bankroll.

Dennis Rock of London, Ontario captured the 2018 TROT Magazine Fantasy Stable contest as his Two Rocks Stable boasted a $7,284,598 bankroll. Also breaking the $7 million plateau were runner-up Tom Baryluk of Sydney, N.S. and his Bristol Aces Stable ($7,061,495), and Franklin, Tenn.'s Ron Salcedo with his Angry Bald Man Stable ($7,032,185).

With both Rock and Baryluk unable to attend the 2019 World Harness Handicapping Championship this weekend at The Meadowlands, Salcedo will be one of the competitors vying for the $40,000 grand prize.

Stay tuned to the Standardbred Canada website later this week for the launch of the 2019 contest.
