Evelyn (BC-Muscle Hill) popped off a pocket trip to take the $135,000 Zweig Filly Trot in 1:54.1 over Sunshine Delight (BC-Credit Winner), who parked the mile first over, and tempo-setter Feed Your Head (BC-Muscle Hill). Owned by Ake Svanstedt Inc., Little E LLC, Borje Nasstrom, and Silva Stable 45, trained by Ake Svanstedt, and driven by Andy Miller, she paid $16.00 to win.
Lindy The Great (BC-Crazed) won the $70,000 Zweig Consolation in 1:52.2 over Fly On (BC-Muscle Hill) and Winneress. Owned by K R Breeding LLC, trained by Frank Antonacci, and driven by Scott Zeron, he paid $3.30 to win.
Ostrich Blue Chip (BC-Chapter Seven) went wire to wire in the $28,220 Zweig Filly Consolation, winning in 1:55.1 over Billie Blue and Aunt Susie. Owned by Fred Monteleone Stable LLC, trained by Frank Antonacci, and driven by Scott Zeron, she paid $2.90.
