Grand Circuit Action Continues at The Red Mile

Closing week at The Red Mile featured a slew of Grand Circuit events, including four divisions of the $255,000 International Stallion Stakes (ISS) for two-year-old trotting fillies on Friday, Oct. 7.
Treviso (BC-Muscle Massive) rode a pocket-trip before slinging by tempo-setter Hillarmbro (BC-Muscle Hill) in 1:53.1 in the first ISS division. Owned by Klis Brothers Stable and Carrie Norris and trained and driven by Charlie Norris, she paid $8.20 to win.
Ariana G (BC-Muscle Hill) won the second division in 1:51.4 over Chezatter (BC-Explosive Matter) and Evelyn (BC-Muscle Hill). She’s owned by Marvin Katz and Al Libfeld, trained by Jimmy Takter, and was driven by Yannick Gingras. She returned $2.40.
Sliding by Feed Your Head (BC-Muscle Hill) and Overdraft Volo (BC-Yankee Glide), Temple Ruins (BC-Donato Hanover) won the third ISS division in 1:54.4. Owned by Burke Racing Stable LLC, Michelle Yanek, Paul Treiber and Weaver Bruscemi, trained by Ron Burke and driven by Brian Sears, she paid $30.60.
Ice Attraction (BC-Muscle Hill) took the lead before the half and held control as Broadway Idole (BC-Broadway Hall) pursued her down the center of the course to win the final ISS division in 1:53.3. Owned by trainer-driver Ake Svanstedt along with partners Douglas Sipple, Mal & Janet Burroughs and Little E LLC, she paid $6.40.
