Test Of Faith climbs into top five in Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll

Hightstown, NJ — Only three horses in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll Top 10 were in action last week, and Test Of Faith was the lone winner from the group, capturing the Empire Breeders Classic for 3-year-old female pacers. As a result, Test Of Faith moved from No. 7 to No. 5 in this week’s rankings, which saw no newcomers to the Top 10 and no change to the top three.
The other horses in action were Bella Bellini, who was fifth against older foes in a conditioned race at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono, and Catch The Fire, who was sixth in the #Senditin Invitational at Eldorado Scioto Downs.
Manchego, Captain Corey, and Atlanta occupied the top-three spots in the poll for the second consecutive week.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
