Test Of Faith increases lead in Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll

Hightstown, NJ — Test Of Faith padded her advantage at No. 1 in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll released Tuesday thanks to her Matron Stakes victory last week at Dover Downs. She added 12 points to her total and increased her lead over No. 2 Jujubee to 81 points.

There were no newcomers to the Top 10, but some shuffling of positions behind the top two as Niki Hill won a Kindergarten Classic Series championship and Bella Bellini won a Matron Stakes while Lyons Sentinel finished third in an invitational handicap and Allywag Hanover finished second in the Potomac Pace.

The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.

The final poll will be Nov. 30 following the completion of the Grand Circuit season.

Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
